Australian drone light shows

Since its inception in 2012, Global Unmanned Systems (GUS) has been at the forefront of drone technology and we now have the capability to deliver drone light shows.

Stellar Lights is brought to you by the team behind GUS. Our shows combine the best of art, science and technology to create a new medium for innovative storytelling and entertainment in the biggest canvas we have – the sky!

Customised artistic productions

Guided by advanced GPS navigation, the drone fleet flies in formation to create intricate 3D shapes using LED lights, moving and transitioning between animations.

Each new light show is a customised artistic production, designed to captivate audiences. In consultation with our clients, we create animations to tell unique and engaging stories. Our choreographed drone light shows produce a spectacular visual performance and can be combined with music and dance.

Safety is paramount

Stellar Lights drone light shows are delivered by the technical team from GUS. From conception to showtime, safety is paramount. With a decade of experience in drone services, we have an intimate understanding of local aviation regulations. Gaining the required approvals from Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) is essential.

Our drones are specifically built for light shows: lightweight, compact and able to operate in most conditions. Equipped with an LED globe, each drone in the fleet acts as one pixel of light in the overall animation.

Stellar Lights is now taking bookings for shows. To find out more please visit our Stellar Lights website.

This highly engaging and dynamic dance is sure to captivate audiences. Drone light shows have the capability to program more than 16 million colours as well as complex shapes in a spectacular visual performance.
