Multispectral Imaging Trial for Precision Viticulture

Precision viticulture aims to optimise vineyard performance with an emphasis on maximising grape yield, whilst also minimising environmental impacts and risk. This is achieved through intensive management customised to local conditions that affect vine growth and grape ripening characteristics. GUS has been involved in a trial program at a major Margaret River vineyard to explore whether high-resolution multispectral imagery can be used to improve the management practices and decision making in the vineyard.
